Christmas Party 2012

December 11, 2012

The 2012 Christmas party was held at the Walnut Library at 6 p.m. All members were present. The festivities started with a pot luck supper that would have fed 10 times the people present. All of the completed quilt tops from last year’s star challenge were presented (7) and submitted for a drawing.  Ione won a $50 gift certificate for Log Cabin Quilts.  We reviewed the completed personal challenge quilts. Six members had completed 12 new techniques.   Again all were submitted for a drawing and LeAnn won a $50 gift certificate to Quilts and Other Notions.  A Gift –Exchange- With-Several –Twist followed. The member then played Traders Dice for prizes submitted by each member bringing 3 white elephant items from their sewing rooms.
Merry Christmas to all!
